Bloomington pastor part of group providing aid after Haiti quake
Survivors of Jan. 12 earthquake living in tents, makeshift huts
“Tents everywhere. People pleading for food and water. Rubble as far as the eye can see.
“This is the scene in Fondwa, Haiti, as described by Bloomington pastor Frank VanAllen this week.
“VanAllen is one of a group of five Hoosiers who arrived Monday in the small village, about 45 miles southeast of Port-au-Prince. They are doing relief work there following the catastrophic earthquake six weeks ago that has claimed the lives of more than 200,000 people….”
