From a Feb. 11 post on the Bloomington Salvation Army’s website:
“Lt. Jonathan Fitzgerald has been called to duty in Port-Au-Prince Haiti for The Salvation Army’s relief efforts after the devastating earthquake. He is charged with directing food distributions there.”
Lt. Fitzgerald will be in Haiti for 30 days directing Salvation Army food distributions. The Salvation Army had already distributed more than a million meals by February 4.
Lt. Fitzgerald is expected to send reports on his experience back to the Salvation Army, where they will be posted on the Bloomington/Monroe County chapter’s website.
