subject: Temporary Protected Status for Haitians — information and list of legal clinics

Hello,

I would like to invite you to view the updated website for the Institute for Justice and Democracy in Haiti at:www.ijdh.org. I interned for the Haitian branch of this organization in 2008 and have recently been helping them gather information for the new site.

As well as news updates on events in and affecting Haiti, there is a very helpful page with information on Temporary Protected Status for Haitians who were in the United States at the time of the earthquake. Information for TPS applicants is available in English and in Kreyol, and we have also created a list of upcoming TPS clinics across the U.S., where applicants can go to receive free or low-cost assistance with filing their application.

Please feel free to pass along this info to anyone who might benefit! Also, if you learn of TPS assistance events or legal clinics, please forward them my way so that I can add those to our list.

With best regards,

Kara Grant
